 I am a glass artist working on a commission basis for domestic, public and commercial architectural stained glass windows, and kiln formed glass. My work is semi-abstract, based on images of nature and the human form, which are combined with the playful use of pattern. For the past five years I have been using creative computing as an additional design tool for my work.
In 1988 I started to teach workshops in glasswork and for the past five years I have been teaching mainly kiln formed glass.
In 1995 I started to work with City & Guilds as an adviser and External Verifier for glass and mosaic courses, and have been working with City & Guilds to develop a range of glass and mosaic courses.
In 2004 our design centre 'space2create.net' was given official approval to offer a range of City & Guilds Design and Craft courses online.
